Off Minor LP & Other News
It has been a year since I last updated this news page, but that doesn’t mean Paramnesia has been dead. Mailorder has been steady throughout the year. In fact I only have about a dozen In First Person LPs and about five One AM Radio / Wind-Up Bird LPs left, so if you’d still like one, don’t wait.
I have some exciting news. Off Minor is releasing a new full length record, and it will be available in North America and worldwide (minus Europe) from Paramnesia. European distribution will be handled by Seb and PurePainSugar and Flo and Andre at Narshardaa. It will also be available for download digitally on a donation based system (yes, like radiohead). As it stands now, all proceeds from digital downloads will go directly to the band, though I will be handling the process as they are currently embarking on a three month long world tour. It won’t have any hand made packaging like the IFP release but it will have amazing artwork done one of my best friends, Nishat Akhtar.
Also coming out in the next few months is a 7″ from Amateur Party. This one WILL be elaborate hand made packaging type stuff. It will also be a split release with Flo and Andre of Narshardaa. More on that in a little while.
The website will be overhauled a little bit at some point before the release. Pre-orders will also be taken as usual, with something special for those of you interested in doing so. Stay tuned.
I have a lot more to say about all of this, but I figured a short update would suffice for now. Pre-orders will start in the next couple of weeks and there will be many more updates here in that time as well.
